SERENITY HOUSE: FROM ADDICTION TO DELIVERANCE

Serenity House: From Addiction to Deliverance is an award-winning Gospel stage play that seeks to help tackle addiction. The show debuted in 2017 at Johns Hopkins Hospital's Turner Auditorium. The powerful production has been transforming lives since it's debut! By popular demand, a show tour was assembled and a novel based on the show was written by Playwright Battle. The multi-venue tour includes a 2021 performance at Huber Community Life Center featuring Gospel/R&B legend Shirley Murdock.

Other engagements have been performed throughout Maryland and beyond at several other venues including Restoration Temple Apostolic Center, Redeemed Christian Church of God Mercy Court, Crystal City Marriott at Reagan National Airport, the Forest Park Senior Center, Sollers Point Multi-Purpose Center, and Narcisse Theater at the Harrisburg Fringe Festival. 

Directed by Theatrical Director Dr. Gregory Wm. Branch with Musical Director Howard "Buddy" Lakins, the powerful production also has also featured Malvilyn Statham of the legendary Clara Ward Singers, national recording artist Randy "Fruity" Roberts, gospel trio SERENITY, powerhouse soloists Charisse Caldwell-Bowen and Kay Jefferson, The Wire's Dravon James, popular performers Tanya Brown-Iyesi, Leonard Stepney, Jr. and more!

Audiences have been transformed since its debut in 2017 and many have come to Christ through the show!
